I started reading The Celebrants (rowley’d new book) and noped right in out of there. I’m sure it’s good but the premise wasn’t for me at the time. I think the two of them might be going through Life’s Trials!
I’m almost at the end of Wellness. Definitely not a traditional love story, I doubt there’s going to be HEA coming in the final 30 pages of this 597 page book! However, there have been so many moments and passages that have made me think really deeply about love and its role in my life...so does that make Wellness a love story?
Who / why on repeat
It's usually HEA, but "happy for now" also works. Fun fact: Byron Lane is married to Steven Rowley (The Guncle).
Maybe “HSD” (happy some day) could be an option? Call Alice

Oh I don’t know this book but it sounds great!
I think any book that makes us think about love can be in my classification of a love story. Or ... a life story?
Wellness is Nathan Hill’s latest novel, I think it was published in mid-Sept. Thanks for your thoughts, it’s definitely a love-life story.
