It's been a while since I read it, so my thoughts are more impressions than anything else, but I liked it! It depicted a world so foreign to me that it may as well have been a fantasy novel (I enjoyed that aspect) and every now and then I'm a sucker for historical fiction so the Truman Capote/Babe Paley bits were fun. I also think a lot about the implications of how the super-wealthy live on how the world works for the rest of us, so it was thought-provoking on that front, as well.
Holler when you're done with The Swans of Fifth Avenue - can't wait to hear what you think.
OK! What were your thoughts on it? Should I spend the time or nah? :)

Also shout out to reader Jeff who thought I wrote "book bourbon" - I support this too!
